All our children are taken on a special outing each year. We like to choose venues / camps / programmes that encourage environmental education, leadership, a true love and respect for nature and of course includes a great deal of fun too!
Recent places visited are game and citrus farms, factories, Hobbiton at Hogsback, East London, Addo Elephant Park, Port Alfred, Sedgefield, Museum & Oceanarium in Port Elizabeth, Queenstown and Grahamstown.
These outings are a very important part of our curriculum as the children (Grade R-7) learn valuable lessons about themselves, their peers, leadership, teamwork- and are often challenged to conquer their fears. These qualities can only increase confidence levels and instil all the important values of a sound character and compassion – making a child “the best that he or she can be.”
